Description
My artwork celebrates America's 250th birthday. My original artwork is inspired by the famous Iowan, Grant Wood's "American Gothic". I revamped "American Gothic" to fit America's 250th birthday with two famous symbols of America. They are Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty which I learned was a gift from France this year in 3rd grade. I also included an eagle which is our country's national bird and an American flag (not touching the ground). The drawing is made with watercolor pencils. I hope you like my ideas for celebrating the country's 250th birthday and the art skills I have been working on this year.
